This is a TAG-Heuer Automatic (self winding) Chronograph, Model SUPER 2000. The TAG-Heuer reference number is 169.306. This style TAG-Heuer chronograph case & bezel was very similar to the Breitling Chronograph of this same time period. Because of this Breitling treatened to bring a legal action against TAG-Heuer for infringement if they continued to use/market this particular style of case and bezel. This is the reason TAG-Heuer discontinued one of the most successful styles of the 2000 and changed the 2000 to a plainer bezel.

The TAG-Heuer 1990 Catalog Retail Price for theModel 2000 Re. 169.306 &169.806 (all stainless steel bezel arrows) was $1,495.00 (Approx. RM4485). In todays dollars adjusted for inflation (67% since 1990) the cost would be $2,496.65 (aprox. RM7490).   These are the rarest of the TAG-Heuer chronographs
